Project’s fourth transnational meeting was organized between 27-31 July 2015, in Varna, Bulgaria. All partner institutions were represented in the meeting. First day (27th July) was dedicated to project management issues such as preperation and submission of the mid-term project report, updates on website, tasks and outputs completed so far, new library services developed in Turkey, Lithuania and Germany, as well as dissemination activities.
A workshop rehearsal also took place with the participation of six librarians from the host institution. On 28th of July, a one day workshop carried out with library users to find out about their needs and preferences for new library services. Sixteen users participated in this workshop with a range of professional background (from teachers to pensioners, from journalists to curators). On 29th and 30th of July, a two days workshop was organized for librarians. Altogether 16 librarians (half of which from small village libraries and the other half from Varna Library) participated. The outcomes and services produced by users introduced to the librarians and they capitalized on the users’ ideas and needs while developing and prototyping new services. Last day was for the evaluation of the workshops, general evaluation of the project, discussions and planning for future activities and project paper work.
